About Enery

At Enery, we're powering the future…literally.

We are an independent renewable energy provider dedicated to delivering reliable, affordable, and long-term green energy to our customers. We have scaled rapidly to over 1.1 GW of operating capacity, with a development pipeline of close to 10 GW across around 10 CEE countries — alongside a leading position in revenue optimization for utility-scale renewable and storage assets. Present in 10 countries across Central and Eastern Europe, our reach reflects our commitment to making a meaningful climate impact across the region.

But we're more than just energy and infrastructure. With a diverse, multidisciplinary team representing over 30 nationalities, we value transparency, ownership, and continuous learning. We move fast, collaborate across disciplines, and celebrate wins, big and small, together.

At Enery, ESG isn't a checkbox. It's embedded into every decision we make, from project development and construction to long-term operations.

As a Senior Fullstack Developer / Tech Lead, you will build the application layer of our internal platform — the tools our teams use to run the business every day. You'll own real features end-to-end, from data model to UI, and set the technical direction for a small IT and Data team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build the shared foundations of the platform — authentication, navigation, access control — and the business-facing pages on top of them (monitoring, forecasting and reporting tools)
  • Ship features end-to-end: define the data model in Snowflake, wire the backend, build the UI, take it to production
  • Own the frontend on the modules you build, working alongside our existing dashboard engineer
  • Set up and maintain the CI/CD pipeline that every future platform module will deploy through
  • Take technical responsibility for the platform in production — availability targets, incident response, and the post-incident work that keeps the same fault from returning
  • Contribute to platform decisions: authentication, access control, service boundaries, developer experience
  • Pair with a senior backend engineer joining the team on shared services (identity, logging, integrations)

Key Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional full-stack experience shipping web applications used by internal or external customers, at least 2 of them in a senior or lead role
  • Experience operating production systems under an availability commitment — you have carried an SLA, run incident response, and written the post-mortem
  • Strong Python, including web application work — Streamlit, FastAPI, Django or similar
  • Comfortable building and operating long-running services, not just request-response endpoints
  • Professional experience in at least one language beyond Python — we build in Python and expect to keep doing so, but breadth is what makes the trade-offs visible
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL; comfortable reading and writing performance-sensitive queries
  • Hands-on experience with a cloud provider (AWS preferred; GCP or Azure acceptable) and with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions or equivalent)
  • Product judgement — willing to say "this is enough for the first release" and defer the rest, willing to argue for more when it matters
  • Fluent English C1

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in the energy sector, and with any energy platform — trading, monitoring, forecasting or SCADA — is a big plus
  • Experience with SSO / IAM patterns (MSAL, Entra ID, Cognito, or similar) and audit-trail design
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, or a similar analytical warehouse pattern
  • TypeScript and modern React (Next.js or similar) — a plus for the web layer
  • Comfort with a growing codebase where conventions are still being set
  • Prior experience as a tech lead in a team of three to six engineers
