Finance Manager - Corporate, Projects & Operations

Role Purpose:

Build and run Eclipse’s finance function across the corporate platform and project SPVs and own the quality, control and scalability of Eclipse’s corporate and project finance operations. The Finance Manager will turn a founder-led finance function into a reliable operating platform capable of supporting more than ten live aggregation contracts, two project SPVs entering construction, and future growth.

Missions:

Corporate finance and FP&A

• Lead the annual budget, rolling forecasts, monthly performance analysis and management reporting for Eclipse.
• Maintain an integrated P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow view, with clear variance analysis and corrective actions.
• Produce the finance and performance sections of Board and shareholder materials for review by the CFO.
• Build a 13-week cash forecast and medium-term liquidity plan; identify funding requirements early.

Accounting, closing and controls

• Own the monthly close calendar and ensure accurate recognition of revenue, costs, accruals and provisions.
• Supervise outsourced accounting, payroll preparation and statutory accounts; coordinate auditors and advisors.
• Design approval matrices, payment controls, purchase-to-pay controls and anti-fraud safeguards.
• Ensure a controlled transition to electronic invoicing and maintain robust audit trails.

Tax, insurance and compliance

• Own the internal tax calendar and coordinate corporate, VAT and project-tax work with external advisers.
• Coordinate the corporate and project insurance program with brokers, including construction, operational and liability cover.
• Track claims, renewals, policy conditions and evidence required by lenders or counterparties.
• Maintain documented finance policies, records and controls appropriate to Eclipse’s scale.

Settlement and revenue oversight

• Supervise the end-to-end revenue control framework for Battery optimization services contracts.
• Independently review settlement outputs, invoices, provisions, receivables and revenue reconciliations produced by Finance Operations.
• Prioritize finance systems and automation with Finance Operations, Data and Tech.

Team and stakeholder management :

• Manage, coach and structure the Finance Operations Analyst and Administrative & Finance Assistant roles.
• Work with the Deputy CFO – Transactions & Financing on debt, offtake, shareholder arrangements and Eclipse–SPV service contracts.
• Ensure an effective handover from transaction execution to post-closing finance operations (incl. Covenants compliance, mandatory financial reports)
• Manage post closing relationships with project finance and corporate lenders throughout the loan lifecycle
• Provide decision-ready analysis to the CFO and escalate material risks promptly.

Candidate Profile :

• Five to eight years of relevant experience in an audit firm, energy/infrastructure company, IPP, developer, investment platform or similarly complex environment.
• Strong command of accounting, FP&A, cash management and internal controls; exposure to project finance or SPVs is strongly preferred.
• Able to move between detailed execution and senior-level decision support.
• Advanced financial modelling and spreadsheet skills; comfortable implementing finance systems and automated workflows.
• Fluent French and professional English.
• Hands-on, rigorous and willing to build processes rather than inherit a mature organization.

Success measures :

• Monthly close and management pack delivered accurately and on schedule.
• Reliable consolidated cash forecast covering Eclipse and its SPVs.
• At least two SPVs operationally ready for construction, lender reporting and capex control.
• Electronic invoicing implemented without disruption or control gaps.
• Clear ownership, documented controls and materially reduced dependence on the CFO for routine finance execution.
