💡 Your role

• Taking ownership of key accounting and controlling activities across the business
• Preparing and developing financial reporting structures to support management and business decision-making
• Working towards increasing independence and ownership of the financial statements and closing processes
• Monitoring and analyzing costs, identifying deviations, and supporting effective cost control
• Taking responsibility for liquidity management and cash flow monitoring
• Closely monitoring and improving processes related to accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reviewing financial processes and identifying opportunities to improve structure, efficiency, and transparency
• Supporting the development and definition of internal financial policies and processes
• Acting as a hands-on and reliable sparring partner for the management team on financial topics

💪 Your profile

• Around 5-7 years of experience in finance, with strong hands-on experience with financial accounting, financial reporting, and controlling
• Solid understanding of financial statements and closing processes
• Experience with cost control, liquidity management, cash flow, and AP/AR processes
• Ideally experience in a small or medium-sized company, start-up, scale-up, or entrepreneurial environment
• You are not purely an accountant - you understand the broader financial picture and enjoy combining operational accounting with controlling and business-oriented financial analysis
• Comfortable working in an environment where structures are still evolving and where you can actively contribute to building and improving processes
• A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for the numbers and the financial health of the business
• Highly proactive, fast-paced, and motivated, with a strong drive to get things done
• Able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and remain hands-on in a dynamic environment
• Fluent German is a must, with strong English skills
