Required Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Current RN license in the state of practice (or eligible compact RN license).
- Ability to maintain all licensure requirements in accordance with state nursing board regulations.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS)
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)
- Certified Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse (CPHON)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. Program Certification
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification (C-EFM)
- Other unit-specific certifications as applicable
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Previous nursing experience in a hospital or specialty care setting
- Specialty certifications relevant to the department
As a Registered Nurse, you'll be part of a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. This role requires the ability to:
- Frequently lift, move, push, or pull up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
- Remain on your feet for extended periods while providing patient care.
- Perform tasks that require reaching, bending, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and manual dexterity.
- Move throughout the unit and respond quickly to patient and team needs.
