Your seat to fill:
- Oversee and coordinate CAE activities for child seats, wheeled goods, furniture, and sports goods developed in Europe, China, and the US
- Define processes, material models, and best practices for CAE in all phases of product development
- Collaborate closely with global testing and engineering departments
- Investigate module-level testing processes and perform static simulations to ensure product integrity and safety
- Manage CAE activities and communication with external service providers
- Establish new simulation environments and correlate them with internal and external test results
- Support in optimizing structural essential geometries and material selection with respect to performance, cost, and weight
- Provide expertise in fatigue and damage tolerance calculations to support product development and testing
- Utilize finite element method and multi-body dynamics methodologies along with simulation software tools to conduct analyses and simulations
- Completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field of education
- Professional experience in finite element analysis or multi-body dynamics, and experience in fatigue and damage tolerance calculation
- Experience in CAE automation and advanced simulation techniques, with exposure to AI-driven tools, will be a strong advantage
- Knowledge of FEM and MBD and relevant simulation software tools like HyperWorks, LS-PrePost, LS-DYNA, Radioss, HyperLife
- CAE experience in the field of occupant safety, wheeled goods, or furniture is a plus
- Independent and structured way of working, as well as analytical thinking and reliability
- Willingness to support global projects through modified work shift or travel
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluency in English; German would be a plus
