Quality Analyst - Financial Crimes
Indexed description
Who You Are
- Own your outcomes — you see a finding through to resolution rather than just flagging it and moving on.
- Team-first transparency — you share findings and credit openly rather than working in a silo; you help colleagues do their best work.
- Courage and accountability — you are willing to voice a dissenting view or flag your own mistake, even when it's uncomfortable; you treat being wrong as an opportunity, not a threat.
- You challenge the status quo — you are comfortable questioning an existing process, checklist, teammate, or lead's decision when something looks off. You argue a position hard when you have one, then fully execute once a decision is made instead of relitigating it.
- 5+ years with direct, hands-on experience investigating cases across KYC, Fraud, and AML — including onboarding, due diligence, alert handling, case investigations, and SAR writing/filing (the more jurisdictions, the better).
- A university degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, Criminology, or a related field connected to financial crime prevention.
- Ideally, 1–3 years of experience performing quality control reviews, peer assessments, or evaluations of investigation standards within KYC, AML, and/or fraud environments.
- A solid understanding of AML and KYC regulatory expectations and fraud prevention frameworks, including familiarity with FATF recommendations and relevant regional guidance.
- Ability to communicate investigative reasoning clearly and collaborate effectively with investigators and team leads.
- Strong analytical and written communication skills, with experience contributing to quality assessments, defect documentation, and reporting.
- You love to build and have experience doing it — ready to jump into creating something great rather than waiting for a team to do it for you.
- You speak more than one language (German, French, and Swedish ideally).
- Genuine enthusiasm for tech and AI — you are comfortable adopting new tools, automating manual steps, and using AI-assisted analysis to work smarter across case volumes.
- A fast learner who can pick up new typologies, systems, and regulatory changes quickly. Change happens a lot here — experience working in this type of environment (and enjoying it!) is important.
- Experience coaching and supporting others — you know how to build people up and help them grow.
- Demonstrated continuous learning — CAMS, CFE, Project Management, Masterclasses, SQL — anything that shows you are continuing to learn in this space or outside of it.
- Technical skills — any and all technical skills are welcome and a bonus. We love to build here.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity — sound judgment when procedures don't cover every scenario, and a bias toward figuring it out.
