About the Role


As a Leader of Learning Mathematics & Numeracy (3pt), you will lead Mathematics across Years 7 - 12 and drive whole-school numeracy improvement. This role carries responsibility for a whole school numeracy program, professional learning, curriculum coordination, and evidence-informed teaching practice aligned to the LaSalle Learning Model. You will work across the whole school community with staff, students, families and partner schools, to strengthen teaching, learning and student achievement. This a 3pt promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years, however your teaching position will be full-time and permanent.


About You


You are an experienced Mathematics leader capable of delivering whole-school impact. You'll bring :

  • a genuine commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
  • the ability to lead faculty engagement with the LaSalle Learning Model and support evidence-informed teaching practices
  • major program leadership involving staff, students, families and the wider community
  • curriculum and assessment leadership across Years 7 - 12, aligned with NESA requirements
  • pedagogical expertise in explicit instruction, formative assessment and high-impact strategies
  • implementation of teaching strategies within the school to improve students' achievement in mathematics and numeracy
  • leadership of instructional coaching and professional learning within and across school communities
  • data-driven decision making to lift student achievement
  • whole-school numeracy leadership and the ability to develop a numeracy plan across KLAs
  • a strategic collaboration with academic leaders and contribution to whole school priorities
  • a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
