About the Job
- Develop the supplier base in the MEA region: prospecting, identification, QCDP qualification, and supplier approval in accordance with the standard Stellantis process up to validation by the Strategic Functional Group (SFG).
- Increase APV exports from MEA: identify sourcing opportunities for the Export plan, prepare and include MEA bid lists in sourcing plans for new programs and re-sourcing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Endorse defining the Micromobility purchasing strategy for commodities in charge.
- Build and maintain a MEA supplier panel in compliance with Quality / Cost / Delivery / Performance (QCDP) requirements.
- Lead supplier qualification processes; conduct RFIs.
- Contribute to the development of the LCC footprint through commodity strategies.
- Build competitiveness analyses (benchmarks, should-cost analyses, comparisons) and define action plans.
- Improve supplier competitiveness: benchmarking sourcing results and defining action plans.
- Contribute to the development of export sourcing plans for new programs; identify resourcing opportunities.
- Ensure regular reporting to management (KPIs, planning, risks, decisions).
Key Interfaces
- Internal: Program & Commodity Purchasing, Supplier Quality, Engineering/Product, Industrialization, Logistics, Finance/Controlling, Risk Management.
- External: MEA suppliers (top management, sales, quality, industrialization), certification/audit bodies (if applicable).
Qualifications
- Mastery of purchasing processes: RFI/RFQ, negotiation, basic contracting, supplier panel management.
- Knowledge of supplier quality requirements and QCDP principles.
- Cost and competitiveness analysis (benchmarks, comparisons, business cases).
- Knowledge of project management and multi-stakeholder coordination (program milestones, governance).
- Proficiency in office tools (Excel/PowerPoint); ERP / purchasing tools (to be specified: SAP, etc.).
- Understanding of industrial/automotive environments and supply chain constraints.
- Results-oriented mindset and strong prioritization skills.
- Analytical thinking, rigor, and data reliability.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills (internal/external).
- Negotiation skills, assertiveness, and ability to manage complex situations.
- Autonomy, proactivity, and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Ethics and respect for confidentiality.
- Education: Master’s degree (Engineering school, Business school, Purchasing/SCM) or equivalent.
- Experience: 5–8 years in industrial purchasing/sourcing, ideally in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Languages: French and fluent professional English.
- Mobility: Travel within the MEA region.
