Job Description

Work Schedule:

  • 100% FTE, full-time, day shift
  • Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm
  • Occasionally early or late start times (Example: 6:00am-2:30pm OR 9:30am-6:00pm)
  • You will work at UW Health's N Main St Clinic (2601 N Main St Rockford IL)

Additional components of compensation may include:

  • Evening, night, and weekend shift differential
  • Overtime
  • On-call pay

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Preferred degree to be in a related healthcare field (exercise physiology, dietician, nursing or other pertinent health care field). Preferred

Work Experience

  • At least 2 years teaching or coaching experience or equivalent in the field of diet/nutrition or exercise. Preferred
  • Experience with individual and group health risk evaluations or testing. Preferred
  • Possess experience in creating and introducing new plans with attention to detail and functionality and outcome measurements. Required

Licenses & Certifications

  • Licensed Dietician, Registered Dietician Nutritionist, or NETA – National Exercise Trainers Association Wellness Coaching Certification required. Required
  • NETA, ACE, or ASFA certified group fitness instructor certification or RYT 200 certification from a Yoga Alliance accredited school. Required
  • Basic Life Support/CPR Certification within 3 months of employment. Required
