What’s the job?
The Quality and Process Engineer serves as a technical leader and this role combines quality engineering, process engineering, and project management responsibilities to support continuous improvement initiatives, World Class Manufacturing (WCM) objectives, and capital/non-capital projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Improving manufacturing processes, product quality, operational efficiency, and cost performance across the organization.
- The incumbent applies engineering principles, quality systems, statistical methodologies, and process optimization techniques to identify opportunities, resolve complex manufacturing challenges, and implement sustainable solutions.
- This position acts as a key liaison between Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Customers, and Suppliers to improve product performance, process capability, and overall business results.
- Leads cross-functional teams, drives root cause analysis and corrective actions, manages process improvement projects, supports quality system compliance, and develops innovative solutions that increase productivity, improve quality, and reduce operating costs.
- Lead process improvement projects utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, Kaizen, 5S, and WCM methodologies.
- Establish methods and controls to improve process capability and eliminate defects.
- Conduct statistical analysis and process capability studies using tools such as Minitab and SPC methodologies.
- Provide technical support to production teams to resolve process issues and improve manufacturing performance.
What do you bring?
- Bachelor Science degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of Industrial Manufacturing experience.
- A strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001) are preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement methodologies are also preferred.
Pay Transparency:
We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $81,500 to $126,500 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is TARGET BONUS 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee
