We are looking for the Risk Manager for Romanian market to join our Ecofinance team within Dyninno Group fintech division.

Ecofinance is a fast-growing fintech delivering accessible B2C financial services worldwide. Through brands like Creditprime and Honey Loan, we offer instalment loans and lines of credit via our online platform. With over 2 million clients across Romania, Moldova and the Philippines. We are now expanding our offerings into digital and virtual cards linked to our mobile apps.

In Romania, Ecofinance operates under the CreditPrime brand and is recognized as one of the leading online lenders in the microfinance sector, demonstrating consistent year-over-year growth while continuously expanding its product portfolio.

As the Risk Manager you will drive risk strategy and portfolio performance for the Romanian market, ensuring sustainable growth through effective credit risk management, data-driven decision-making, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Risk Policies Development:

  • Develop, implement, and calibrate risk policies (provisioning methodology, credit risk, operational risk, anti-fraud, etc.).
  • Manage decision-making processes and implement risk strategies and score models.

Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to risk policies and oversee risk management and reporting processes.
  • Conduct credit portfolio and risk analysis, providing improvement recommendations and corrective actions.
  • Prepare comprehensive credit risk review and risk assessment reports.

Monitoring And Analysis

  • Regularly monitor and analyze key risk indicators to ensure alignment with the company’s strategy.
  • Identify and stay abreast of new trends in the industry.
  • Monitor the provisions calculations conducted within the company under the Central Bank of the Romania regulatory requirements and conduct the impact assessment to understand the potential impact on the company performance.

Governance Framework

  • Maintain a robust risk governance framework for operations at the country level in the region.

Decision-Making Optimization

  • Develop and optimize automatic decision-making processes related to credit risk, fraud prevention, and collection optimization.
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting of NPL, LLP, AR.

Collection Strategy And Processes

  • Develop, implement, optimize, and support collection strategy and processes, on-boarding, and risk assessment.

Data Management

  • Manage new and existing data sources, including identification, implementation, usage, monitoring, and analysis.

Requirements

  • Higher education in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in credit risk management, scoring models development, provisioning, portfolio management, and analysis.
  • Strong communication and cooperation skills are important.
  • Ability to plan and organize work independently.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)/Power BI.
  • Experience working with SQL.
  • Proficient in English (B2 and higher).

Will Be Considered As Advantage

  • Experience working with R or Python.
