The Opportunity
- Join CBRE's Development & Infrastructure team and play a key role on one of Queensland's largest residential precinct programs.
- We're seeking Managers and Advisors to support complex commercial, transaction and contract advisory activities across a landmark, long-term development program.
- Work directly with senior client stakeholders while building your career on projects shaping the future growth of Queensland
Advisor (5 to 7 years' experience): This role will support commercial management, contract administration, and reporting activities. You will contribute to cost reporting, variation registers, and contract correspondence under the direction of senior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide transaction and commercial advisory across complex development and delivery agreements, including public-private partnerships and project development agreements.
- Manage a transaction process with private proponents
- Manage commercial functions including budget oversight, variation assessment, cost reporting, and financial management across concurrent contracts.
- Identify, assess and manage commercial risks throughout project delivery
- Support procurement processes including market engagement, tender evaluation, and contract negotiation.
- Prepare commercial reports, briefings, and correspondence for senior client audiences.
- Tertiary qualifications in quantity surveying, engineering, construction management, commerce, law, or related discipline.
- Manager level: approximately 10 years of experience in commercial management, contract administration, or transaction advisory on major residential, mixed-use, or infrastructure programs.
- Advisor level: five to seven years of experience in a commercial, contracts, or quantity surveying role on complex-built environment programs.
- Exposure to complex contractual structures, including design and construct, managing contractor, or alliance delivery models.
- Understanding of public sector commercial governance, including probity requirements and public interest considerations.
- Client-side, owner's representative, or integrated project delivery experience on programs of comparable scale and complexity.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience operating in multi-contract program environments.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise reports and correspondence for senior audiences.
