Head of Finance (Russian Speaker)

Negentrix - an educational holding company headquartered in Berlin, founded in 2022. We address the shortage of qualified professionals in the DACH region through adult education, combining professional training with integration and language courses.

We are currently looking for a leader for our finance team, who will report directly to the CFO.

What you will do:

• lead a finance team of 4 people: develop team members, allocate tasks, monitor quality and timely execution;
• be responsible for financial planning, budgeting and budget control;
• participate in the preparation of financial models, forecasts and business cases to support management decisions;
• prepare monthly financial reports and plan-vs-actual analysis, analyze key financial indicators and ensure the accuracy of financial data;
• control cash flow and manage treasury processes;
• manage accounts receivable and monitor the timely receipt of funds;
• coordinate the work of external accounting providers, ensure the preparation of necessary data for accounting and tax reporting, interact with tax advisors and auditors.

What we expect from you:

• 5+ years of experience in finance and 2+ years of team management experience;
• strong financial analysis and management reporting skills;
• experience with budgeting and financial planning;
• understanding of accounting and tax processes;
• ability to work independently and take responsibility for results;
• mature leadership and strong communication skills, the ability to build team collaboration in a
• respectful and supportive way, inspire people and at the same time confidently lead them toward results;
• Russian language at C2 level;
• strong Excel / Google Sheets skills; experience with ERP and BI systems;
• proactivity, responsibility and curiosity about new things, readiness to take on unfamiliar tasks, learn from mistakes and come not only with questions but also with possible solutions.

Will be an advantage:

• experience with German accounting and the German tax system (HGB, Umsatzsteuer, interaction with Steuerberater);
• experience working with several legal entities in parallel;
• knowledge of IFRS;
• German at B2 level;
• English at B1+ level.
