About the role:


This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse/Clinical Technologist role based in Pankop, Mpumalanga. The Registered Nurse will provide safe, effective, and compassionate dialysis care, including preparation and monitoring of patients undergoing haemodialysis, haemodiafiltration, and/or peritoneal dialysis.


How you will contribute:

  • Assessing patient needs
  • Developing and implementing nursing care plans
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed,
  • Monitoring vital signs and dialysis parameters.
  • Educate patients and families on renal conditions, treatment options, and self-care, while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and supporting continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with nephrologists and other healthcare professionals, adhering to infection prevention and control standards, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.


What you bring to URC:

  • National Senior Certificate (Matric)
  • Registered Nurse or Clinical Technologist Qualification
  • Current registration as a Professional Nurse OR Clinical Technologist with SANC/HPCSA and proof of valid practicing license.
  • Previous experience in nephrology or dialysis nursing is highly beneficial; experience in acute renal care is an advantage.
  • Competence in electronic medical records, basic computer literacy, and accurate clinical documentation.


Preferred Skills:

  • Demonstrated clinical skills in renal nursing, including dialysis treatment preparation, patient assessment, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Strong patient care, communication, and counselling abilities to support a diverse, multicultural patient population.
  • Knowledge of infection prevention and control, medication administration, and emergency response in a dialysis setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and maintain professional, ethical practice aligned with organisational values.
  • Willingness to work scheduled shifts, demonstrate accountability, and participate in ongoing training and development.
