Job Description

Electrophysiology Technologist/ EP Tech Cath Lab

PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center

$56.33-$83.88/hr

Vancouver, WA

Full Time | 1.0 FTE (4x10’s)

Some cardiac procedures are routine.

Others change the course of a patient's life.

Imagine stepping into a lab where every day brings complex rhythm cases, advanced electrophysiology procedures, and the opportunity to work alongside physicians who genuinely value your clinical judgment. A place where your voice carries weight, your skills continue to grow, and your expertise matters during some of the most important moments in a patient's care.

That's what you'll find inside PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center's Heart & Vascular Center.

As an Electrophysiology Technologist, you'll support advanced EP procedures within a cardiovascular program that serves as a referral destination for Southwest Washington and surrounding communities. This is a recognized Center of Excellence for Atrial Fibrillation, supported by accredited vascular and echocardiography labs, a Level I STEMI program, and a comprehensive cardiovascular service line known for managing complex patients.

This isn't the type of environment where every day looks the same.

One day you're helping support a challenging arrhythmia case. The next, you're collaborating with physicians during advanced electrophysiology procedures, interpreting data, monitoring patient conditions, and contributing to decisions in real time. The work is technically demanding, clinically engaging, and deeply meaningful.

You'll be joining an established EP team with several other EP technologists, creating the kind of collaborative environment many professionals spend years trying to find. There are experienced peers to learn from, cases to discuss, and teammates who understand exactly what happens inside the lab. Physicians welcome input. Technologists are respected contributors during procedures, not observers on the sidelines. Everyone is focused on the same goal: delivering exceptional outcomes for patients with complex cardiac conditions.

Equally important, PeaceHealth is a person-first, values-driven, highly trusted nonprofit healthcare organization. The philosophy is simple: care for caregivers the same way we care for patients. That commitment shows up in strong benefits, professional development support, wellbeing resources, and a culture built on respect.

What You'll Experience Here

  • Advanced electrophysiology procedures within a respected AFib Center of Excellence
  • Broad procedural exposure including AFib ablations, concomitant ablations, Watchman implants, CIED device implants, and other advanced electrophysiology procedures.
  • Complex, clinically rewarding cases that keep skills sharp
  • Strong physician-technologist collaboration
  • Four 10-hour shifts each week with no call responsibilities, providing more time for life outside the hospital.
  • Opportunities for continued learning and professional growth
  • A cardiovascular program with an established reputation for excellence
