What’s the mission context?

We are seeking a Quality Manager who is responsible for leading and continuously improving the Quality

Management System (QMS) at Everlam's Hamm (Germany) facility. The role ensures compliance with ISO

9001 and other applicable standards, maintains product and process quality, drives corrective and

preventive actions, supports customer satisfaction, and promotes a culture of quality and continuous

improvement across the organization.


The Quality Manager works closely with Production, Technology, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Sales,

Customer Service, and suppliers to ensure that quality requirements are understood, implemented,

monitored, and continuously improved. You will be reporting to the Technology Manager.


What are the key responsibilities?

  • Maintain, develop, and continuously improve the site's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and coordinate internal and external audits and follow up on audit findings. Ensure all quality-related processes, procedures, work instructions, and records are maintained and regularly reviewed.
  • Manage customer complaints and ensure effective investigation and resolution. Initiate corrective and preventive actions resulting from customer complaints, audit findings, process deviations, non-conformities, and quality incidents. Lead root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies and monitor implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Own and maintain product specification sheets and quality-related technical documentation. Ensure specifications are accurate, up-to-date, controlled, and aligned with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and monitor quality control plans and inspection procedures.
  • Update and improve quality standards and acceptance criteria for raw materials
  • Support supplier qualification and approval processes, collaborate with Procurement and Technology teams to address supplier-related quality issues. Monitor supplier quality performance and initiate improvement plans where necessary.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives across the site. Facilitate cross-functional improvement projects aimed at improving product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and customer focus.


What are the requirements?

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Chemistry, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality Management role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in plastics, polymers, extrusion, chemical processing, automotive, glass, or related industries is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience maintaining and improving ISO 9001 certified management systems.
  • Experience with customer complaints, audits, CAPA processes, and root cause investigations.


Technical Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and quality management principles.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and quality tools.
  • Experience with quality audits and audit management.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and process improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of document control and specification management.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities showing a structured and detail-oriented approach.
  • Effective communicator capable of working across departments and organizational levels.
  • Customer-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent in German and English.
