Your seat to fill:
- Take ownership as the Quality Lifecycle Manager for the Apparel business, overseeing all quality and product compliance activities across the entire product lifecycle
- Act as the central point of contact and trusted source of information for all Apparel quality and product compliance topics, ensuring seamless communication between Executive Leadership and cross-functional teams
- Define and drive Apparel Quality standards and specifications across the product lifecycle, ensuring a consistently high level of perceived quality
- Lead Quality Planning, Validation & Verification throughout the Product Development Process (PDP)
- Oversee quality processes across the entire supply chain, from suppliers to finished goods, ensuring consistent standards from development through production
- Drive the continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems (QMS) across the supplier base
- Lead root-cause analysis and issue resolution, including 8D processes and effective corrective and preventive actions
- Support the development of safe and compliant products for global markets and ensure stakeholders are informed about relevant regulatory requirements and changes
- Evaluate test results and support product risk assessments in collaboration with relevant teams
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers and drive supplier quality performance, transparency and accountability
- Establish effective approaches for quality inspections, documentation and data-driven performance monitoring
- Drive knowledge sharing and continuous improvement by training internal teams and suppliers on quality standards and best practices
- Degree in Textile Engineering, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management or a comparable field
- Demonstrated professional experience in apparel quality management or production quality assurance, ideally within the apparel, sportswear or FMCG industry
- Strong technical knowledge of textiles, materials, garment construction, testing methods and manufacturing processes
- Proven experience in supplier quality management, audits and corrective action programs
- Solid knowledge of ISO 9001, product compliance and relevant apparel standards, such as OEKO-TEX and GOTS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across different levels of the organization
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus
