QA Engineer (Mexico-based with brazilian CNPJ)

We are seeking a Mid-level Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) focused on testing web and mobile applications in the online banking domain. You’ll be joining a fast-paced quality engineering team that values precision, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Reponsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom test automation frameworks using open-source tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
• Architect scalable and reusable automation solutions across platforms.
• Implement advanced testing strategies including performance, security, and API testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure testability and quality in code design.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing practices and tooling across the organization.

Requirements

• B2 English proficiency
• 4+ years of automation engineering or software development experience
• Strong coding skills and automation framework experience
• Experience with API testing and automation frameworks
• Experience working in CI/CD environments
• Experience testing web UI applications and mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Experience working with SQL databases for test data validation and backend verification.
• Exposure to low-code/no-code automation platforms such as Testim is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI fundamentals and AI usage in software testing
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.
• Experience clearly articulating issues and collaborating across teams.
• Experience in the banking or fintech industry is a plus.
