Full Stack Engineer

This is a full-stack engineering role on the core platform team of a bootstrapped AI product studio, where you'll help build the infrastructure that enables thousands of users to interact with AI every day. The work spans scalable backend systems, LLM integrations, and polished front-end features — all with a strong emphasis on reliability, security, and product ownership.

What You'll Do

• Build and ship high-quality full-stack features using TypeScript and React, with a focus on seamless user experience.
• Design and implement backend systems capable of handling terabytes of client data and millions of API requests.
• Take end-to-end ownership of features from concept and design through deployment and ongoing operation.
• Debug production incidents, identify root causes, and implement lasting, well-reasoned fixes.
• Synchronize and index large client datasets while managing fine-grained access permissions.
• Operate and optimize systems that process millions of LLM calls per month at high reliability.
• Architect and scale environments that spawn thousands of secure code sandboxes daily.
• Build foundational infrastructure that enables rapid onboarding of custom integrations.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise the bar through thorough, constructive code reviews.

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production full-stack features.
• Strong proficiency with React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL in production environments.
• Solid backend experience, including Python, tRPC, or comparable technologies at scale.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for high-throughput distributed services.
• Proven track record building reliable, secure backend services that handle significant data volume and API traffic.
• Experience with GenAI platforms or LLM integrations, or a strong interest in AI-integrated products.
• Product-minded approach: you care about user experience and long-term product success, not just shipping code.
• Comfortable mentoring others and contributing to team growth through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where speed and quality go hand in hand.

Salary range: €60,000 – €80,000 per year. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Hybrid role based in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Remote-only candidates are not a fit for this position.
