About The Role
We are looking for a Quality Manager to join our Quality Team in Richen.
The role includes:
- Responsibility for the Quality Management System (QMS) at the Richen site and its continuous development and improvement.
- Responsibility for the planning, implementation, and successful certification of the site according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001, including the coordination of all internal and external certification activities.
- Collaboration with external certification bodies, as well as the planning, execution, and follow-up of internal and external audits.
- Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements.
- Supporting functional departments in the definition, implementation, and continuous improvement of processes and quality standards.
- Leading improvement projects using continuous improvement methodologies such as 5 Why, Ishikawa, 8D, Poka-Yoke, PDCA, and Six Sigma.
- Leading and facilitating Kaizen workshops.
- Preparing and facilitating FMEAs and control plans.
- Creating work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Analyzing quality KPIs and deriving and implementing appropriate improvement measures.
- Developing databases, dashboards, and statistical analyses.
- Promoting a sustainable quality culture and supporting the organization in its continuous improvement efforts.
- At least 5 years of experience in Quality Management within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in establishing, implementing, or further developing Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 management systems.
- Experience planning and conducting internal and external audits.
- Experience leading projects, ideally combined with team leadership experience.
- Experience working with the Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and SAP.
- A strong hands-on mindset and an independent, structured way of working.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a comparable technical qualification.
- Experience implementing and maintaining management systems according to ISO 14001 and ISO 50001.
- Knowledge of Lean Management and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is an advantage.
- ISO 9001 Auditor certification (Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor) is an advantage.
- Database and programming skills (e.g., SQL, Power Query, or Python) are a plus.
- Experience with statistical methods and quality tools such as SPC, MSA, and Process Capability Analysis.
