Prime Risk Platform Architect

Prime Risk Platform Architect – VP will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture of a next-generation client risk management platform. As part of the Liquid Financing Technology team, you’ll lead the design of a low-latency, high-throughput, highly available platform that delivers real-time credit, market, and liquidity risk analytics across asset classes. Working closely with front-office risk desks, quantitative teams, and engineering leaders, you’ll define platform standards, reference architectures, and scalable frameworks that enable real-time exposure monitoring, intraday limits and margin forecasting, and advanced stress and scenario analysis across the enterprise.

In this role, you’ll leverage modern cloud and streaming technologies—including AWS, Kafka, Spark Streaming, Kubernetes, and large-scale data lake architectures—to build resilient systems capable of processing massive real-time datasets. Beyond hands-on architecture, you’ll influence engineering strategy, guide multiple teams across regions, and ensure the platform aligns with enterprise standards across data, compute, AI, and visualization. this role offers the chance to work at the intersection of architecture, front-office risk, and large-scale distributed systems while helping define the future of risk technology at a leading global investment bank. 2 days a week Midtown NYC, 1 Day a week Whippany NJ- Shuttle service available.
