Job Function Summary:
The Senior Production Support Controller is a member of the finance department, focus in production, responsable of cost and price controlling, special focus on direct variable cost; lead role in internal/external reporting and planning and a sparring partner of the local organization at his area. The Production controller is responsible of providing quality support and expertise according to his/her experience and department layout.
Major Areas of Accountability (Production Support Controller):
- Responsible for Manufacturing Accounting
- Daily sparring partner for CAR organization (quality, value stream leader, planners etc)
- Analysis of manufacturing variances.
- Production settlement and reporting (material and labor utilization, DVC base and reservation, Productivity Report Analysis.
- Inventory handling
- Participation in month end closing and preparation of monthly reporting
- Journals and Accruals related to production for month end.
- Participation in stock-takes
- Cost price checks, analysis and cross information.
- Cost rollup. Preparation, calculation, exercise and presentation to Corporate.
- Analysis of Production Reservation (favorable or unfavorable).
- DVC forecast.
- Cooperation with Business Centre, HQ controllers and other production sites.
- Veeva control and approval for the Financial Impact in Change Control or Change Actions.
- Ad hoc reports or additional analysis requested from any internal client.
- Financial Statements. Preparation and alignment with corporate.
- CIT preparation.
- Energy Declaration.
- Tax authorities contact to get reports.
- IAO for Procomer.
- Procomer Audit.
- Coordination with 3rd parties for the financials and official documentation.
- Fullfil requirements to change any actual regulatory (fiscal period, 20Bis, etc).
- Performing their job in compliance with the guidelines given
- Drawing attention to the manager to any difficulties in understanding or following the guidelines
- Drawing attention to inefficiency of the system
- Take responsibility for those safety aspects identified for the given position
- Support the positive EHS culture
- Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting / Finance / Economics or related areas.
- More than years 8 of working experience in financial controlling, preferred in multinational manufacturing companies.
- B2 English level.
- Extensive knowledge of MS Excel spreadsheet software, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word processing software; Cognos knowledge an advantage.
- Extensive knowledge of operations service and production costs.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- More than 3 years of proven cost roll experience.
- English level B2+
- Experience in medical device industry
