What You’ll Be Doing
As a Test Engineer, you will support the delivery of high-quality software by applying effective testing practices and automation throughout the software development lifecycle.
Working closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders, you'll validate requirements, identify risks, execute testing activities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality and team effectiveness.
Test Planning and Design
- Contribute to test planning activities, including estimation and test approach discussions.
- Analyse requirements and designs for testability and potential risks.
- Design, document and execute test cases aligned to project and business requirements.
- Execute system, integration, end-to-end, cross-browser, cross-device and user acceptance testing activities.
- Identify, log, track and verify defects through to resolution.
- Support the maintenance of test environments and test data.
- Review test cases and test artefacts to ensure alignment with quality standards.
- Work closely with developers, product managers and delivery teams to support quality outcomes.
- Communicate testing progress, results, risks and issues in a clear and timely manner.
- Contribute to test reporting and release readiness activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, automation coverage and quality practices.
- Share knowledge and support other team members where required.
- Contribute to the adoption of new testing tools, techniques and AI capabilities.

- 3+ years' experience in software testing across web and API-based applications.
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated test suites using tools such as Playwright, Supertest, Axios and Postman.
- Experience incorporating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to performance and non-functional testing tools such as Artillery.io, JMeter, Lighthouse, or similar technology.
- Experience using Azure DevOps and test management tools for test execution and defect tracking.
- Exposure to BrowserStack or similar testing platforms is desirable.
- Familiarity with AWS environments and exposure to Salesforce or WordPress platforms is desirable.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and defect investigation skills.
- Experience working in regulated or highly governed environments is advantageous.
- Experience with or interest in leveraging AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency, automation and quality outcomes.
