Responsibilities
- Design and deliver security transformation initiatives involving legacy security environments.
- Define target-state architectures and support the selection of technologies and vendors.
- Lead migration projects from assessment and planning through implementation and operational handover.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communication.
- Collaborate with Security, SOC, Operations, Enterprise Architecture teams, and external vendors.
- Ensure compliance with financial sector regulatory requirements throughout the transformation lifecycle.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Security Architect.
- Proven experience in migration, consolidation, or replacement of legacy security systems.
- Strong expertise in at least one of the following platforms: Palo Alto Cortex, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, or Splunk Enterprise Security.
- Experience in network security, including Zero Trust, NGFW, SASE, and SD-WAN.
- Experience with IAM solutions, including Active Directory, Entra ID, PAM, and MFA.
- Knowledge of Azure or AWS from a security architecture perspective.
- Experience leading transformation or migration projects.
- Familiarity with financial sector regulations such as DORA, BAIT, and MaRisk.
- German language proficiency at C1+ level and English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Security Architecture certification (e.g., CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF Security) and Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA).
- Experience with SOAR platforms such as XSOAR, Sentinel SOAR, or Swimlane.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container security.
- Experience with Detection Engineering, MITRE ATT&CK, and Vulnerability Management tools.
- Previous experience in financial services or other highly regulated environments.
- Additional certifications such as CISM, PCNSE, AZ-500, SC-200, or ITIL 4 Foundation.
