- Provide guidance and technical oversight for administrators.
- Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.
- Communicate problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users, and unit leaders.
- Respond to major incidents and act as a technical leader for restoring failed systems.
- Provide root cause analysis for major incidents and problem tickets.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
- Management of system data retention and redundancy.
- Actively engaged with the disaster recovery planning, preparation, and execution.
- Monitor IT infrastructure resources for performance, availability, and security.
- Provide after-hours support and implementation as needed.
- Research current technology trends, attend workshops, user meetings, and conferences, and complete technical training to identify emerging technology STAR may
- Evaluate processes to ensure practical application of industry best practices.
- Provide daily monitoring, maintenance, and administration of assigned IT systems, applications, serves, clients, and network devices.
- Resolve support incidents escalated by lower support tier and provide technical guidance to lower support tiers.
- Communicate problems and issues and key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users, and unit leaders.
- Serve as a consultant to line of business managers and other stakeholders on the most efficient use of current applications.
- Evaluate new client system software, updates to client software, and deploy client software.
- Maintain and enhance performance of all new and existing systems, databases, and applications across the organization.
- Participate in Problem Management process.
- Continued involvement in System Patching as needed.
- Lead IT-specific projects from the project initiation through project closing stages.
- Lead assigned IT work for enterprise projects and communicate effectively with project managers.
- Follow IT Change Management processes for work performed.
- Consistently update ticket notes for project milestones and support issues.
- Provide support for assigned tickets, including escalation assistance as needed.
- Regularly review ticket queue and take ownership of unassigned tickets when needed.
- Technical strength in the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Strong project management, organizational skills, and attention to details.
- Demonstrated customer service orientation.
