In this role, you will be the frontline engineering authority responsible for configuring defense tools, executing continuous rule tuning, leading technical escalations, and performing root-cause analysis across key security domains. This is a purely technical, hands-on position focused on operational execution, security tool administration, and incident response.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, deploy, and maintain core security platforms across enterprise environments.
  • Perform deep technical troubleshooting, log analysis, and root-cause analysis (RCA) for complex security escalations.
  • Manage enterprise password vaulting, identity access controls, and SSO integration (e.g., CyberArk, Okta, Azure Entra ID).
  • Maintain and tune rules for Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB).
  • Configure endpoint/network DLP agents, establish monitoring policies, and tune rule definitions to mitigate data exfiltration risks while minimizing false positives.
  • Conduct log analysis via SIEM platforms (Splunk, ELK) to verify tool health, agent connectivity, and security policy enforcement.

Target Skills/Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise cybersecurity engineering and technical security administration.
  • Hands-on experience in configuring, administering, and troubleshooting tools across all 5 core domains:
  1. Hands-on experience with tools such as CyberArk, Okta, SailPoint, or similar.
  2. Direct experience with platforms like Symantec DLP or similar endpoint/network DLP solutions.
  3. Configuration and monitoring of modern endpoint security tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Defender for Endpoint).
  4. Hands-on work with cloud security gateways and Zero Trust access frameworks.
  5. Rule tuning, policy configuration, and traffic analysis.
  6. Strong background in technical support, root-cause analysis, and resolving operational escalations under SLAs.
  7. Proficiency in log investigation using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, ELK).
  8. Relevant technical certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, or vendor-specific certifications (e.g., CyberArk, Palo Alto, AWS/Azure Security) nice-to-have
  9. Business Japanese a MUST
