Director of Cyber Security

For a strategic client of ours, a large and complex organization, we are looking for an experienced Head of Cyber Security Monitoring & Controls to lead a broad cyber monitoring and security control function.

This is a senior leadership role combining people management, strong cyber and technology expertise, business understanding, and the ability to lead complex cross-organizational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead managers and professional teams across SOC, DLP, Vulnerability Management and Cyber Threat Intelligence

• Oversee cyber monitoring and incident response across a hybrid On-Premise and Cloud environment

• Lead third-party and supply-chain cyber risk activities

• Drive Identity & Access Management policies, implementation and controls

• Partner closely with business units to implement effective security controls

• Work with Privacy, Risk, Procurement and other governance functions

• Support the design of security solutions for complex business processes

• Lead regulatory compliance processes, identify gaps and oversee remediation plans

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in technology infrastructure management and/or Cyber Security

• Proven experience managing and leading professional teams

• Strong background in Cyber Risk Management and implementation of advanced security solutions

• Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in large organizations

• Hands-on understanding of monitoring hybrid On-Premise and Cloud environments

• Familiarity with Information Security standards and regulatory requirements

• Ability to operate effectively under pressure and manage security incidents in a 24/7 environment

• Strong leadership, initiative, creativity and business orientation
