Cyber Security is the part of Vestas Power Solutions that designs and delivers modern, secure, and maintainable OT solutions. We aim to create value for Vestas and our customers with future solutions using the latest technology and security trends to detect potential threats before they become real.

Responsibilities

As a Plant Security Engineer, you will support the team working on our products and solutions that are being deployed to coordinate the cybersecurity tasks across a diverse suite of ICS components. Your focus will be:

  • Implementing, handling, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the OT devices in the WPP
  • Fixing security and network problems
  • Responding to all system or network security breaches
  • Ensuring that the OT data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls
  • Participating in the change management process

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
  • Knowledge about computer forensics analysis, ethical hacking, security testing, etc.
  • Great awareness of cybersecurity trends
  • Experience with Python/Bash/PowerShell or other scripting languages/tools
  • Technical documentation (English)
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)

  • Ability to work freely as well as being part of a team
  • Solid attention to detail with an investigative mind and great problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in changing team environments and proficiency to work in a growing, innovative, interdisciplinary team of experts

Additional Information

This is a hybrid position based in Porto, Portugal, and requires up to 15 days of travel per year. Applicants must be authorized to work in Portugal. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
