IT Systems Manager

Wealth Partners Capital Group ("WPCG") is a West Palm Beach, Florida-based financial services holding company. WPCG was launched in June 2017 and currently has capital investments in eight large wealth management firms. WPCG’s mission, in partnership with these eight firms, is to identify, value, negotiate with and acquire smaller firms and merge them into its partner firms. Since its inception, WPCG has closed over 190 transactions on behalf of its partner firms, which have added approximately $115 billion to their assets under management (www.wealthpcg.com).

WPCG is seeking to hire an IT Systems Manager to oversee the firm’s technology infrastructure, vendor relationships, and cybersecurity practices. This person will be the firm's first internal IT hire and will serve as the single point of contact for all IT-related needs across the firm, working alongside a managed service provider (MSP) that handles day-to-day helpdesk support. The IT Systems Manager will support WPCG’s 45-person organization in its two primary offices in West Palm Beach and NYC, as well as remote employees.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Owning the relationship with WPCG’s MSP
• Managing day-to-day IT support: monitoring tickets to WPCG’s MSP, equipment set up and troubleshooting, including conference rooms, etc.
• Coordinating onsite vendor visits and equipment installs
• Handling new hire and departing employee technology needs, including laptop and phone set up, account provisioning, and access revocation
• Managing access controls and security protocols across all firm systems to protect against data breaches, ensuring practices align with industry standards
• Assessing technology needs and making recommendations on hardware, software, and long-term IT strategy
• Leading technology upgrades and system migrations
• Participating in WPCG’s AI working group
• Other projects as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ years’ experience in IT management, systems administration, or a related role
• Experience managing or working directly with an MSP

Skills include:

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, account provisioning, and access management
• Familiarity with cybersecurity fundamentals (monitoring tools, access controls)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; able to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical staff
• Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day oversight in a small, fast-moving firm
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through, particularly on vendor management and ticket resolution
• Experience in financial services a plus, but not required

Other Position Requirements

• Based in West Palm Beach
• Some travel to NYC and for executive team home office support
• Compensation packages range from $100,000-140,000 per year, commensurate with experience
