Your Responsibilities

  • Shape strategy and turn it into action
  • Partner with senior cybersecurity and IT leadership to evolve our global cybersecurity strategy and translate it into a multi-year roadmap of capabilities, priorities and initiatives. Help establish where we are today, where we need to go, and the practical pathway to get there.

Connect strategy with execution

  • Maintain visibility across strategic security programmes and initiatives, ensuring priorities remain aligned, dependencies are understood and execution continues to support our longer-term objectives. Bring structure and discipline without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.

Bring financial discipline to our plans

  • Partner with the Global VP of IT Security to understand budget performance, forecast future requirements and ensure investment plans are aligned with strategic priorities. You do not need to have owned a cybersecurity budget directly, but you should be comfortable working with financial information and translating strategy into credible investment plans.

Integrate Across Cybersecurity Capabilities

  • Work across Security Operations, IAM, GRC, Architecture and other security capabilities to ensure we operate against an integrated strategy rather than as individual functions. You don't need to be the deepest technical expert in every area; you do need to understand how the pieces connect.

Lead through influence

  • This role currently has no direct reports. Your success will therefore come through your ability to build relationships, create alignment and influence senior stakeholders across a highly matrixed global organisation. You will work with leaders across global IT as well as senior business stakeholders across functions, countries and cultures.

Simplify complexity

  • Translate complex cybersecurity topics, risks and strategic decisions into clear, consumable messages for technical and non-technical audiences. Help senior stakeholders understand what matters, why it matters and what decisions or actions are required.

Help us continue to build

  • Bring experience from organisations undergoing meaningful transformation. Identify gaps, create structure where needed and help strengthen the processes, governance and ways of working required to turn strategic ambition into sustainable execution.

Your qualification

  • You may have worked in cybersecurity strategy, transformation, programme leadership, a CISO organisation or another role sitting across multiple security capabilities. Your specific title or industry is less important than the breadth of your experience and how you operate. To this role, you will bring:
  • Significant experience working across the cybersecurity landscape, with the ability to connect different security capabilities to broader business priorities
  • Proven experience helping to develop and execute multi-year cybersecurity strategies, roadmaps or transformation programmes
  • The ability to move comfortably between strategy and execution — developing the direction while helping ensure initiatives remain aligned and progress is delivered
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience working with budgets, forecasts, investment plans or strategic financial planning
  • Experience leading complex programmes or initiatives involving multiple functions, stakeholders and dependencies
  • Experience working across countries, cultures and functions within a global or highly matrixed organisation
  • Experience building or transforming capabilities, programmes or operating models rather than solely managing mature, steady-state environments

Candidates may come from healthcare, technology, manufacturing, financial services, consulting, or another highly regulated industry. What matters most is your ability to lead enterprise-wide security initiatives, influence senior stakeholders, and translate strategy into action.

Your competencies

  • Strategic Mindset: seeing ahead to future possibilities and translating them into breakthrough strategies
  • Decision Quality: making good and timely decisions that keep Olympus moving forward
  • Action Orientated: taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, energy and enthusiasm
  • Ensures Accountability: holding yourself and others accountable to meet commitments

Your Benefits

  • Flexible working hours, remote work possible (up to 40%)
  • 30 days of holidays per year
  • Modern office and an inspiring working environment
  • Employee restaurant with live cooking and healthy food (subsidized)
  • Public transport ticket (100% subsidized) or free parking space
  • Company sport groups and an in-house company gym
  • Employee Assistance Program to support your health, mental and emotional well-being
  • Participation in our comprehensive company pension scheme
  • Company medical officer and vaccination offers
  • Childcare through our ‘Buttje&Deern’ partner
  • Bike leasing
