L3 Microsoft Sentinel Platform Engineer, you will lead the development and optimization of our Microsoft Sentinel environment, drive advanced detection engineering initiatives, and support threat hunting and security automation efforts that strengthen our SOC capabilities.

What You'll Do

✅ Architect and implement advanced threat detection use cases and automated response solutions

✅ Manage and optimize Microsoft Sentinel integrations and log ingestion from diverse security and IT platforms

✅ Develop advanced KQL queries, analytics, and detection logic

✅ Design and maintain SIEM integrations across hybrid and multi-cloud environments

✅ Create and enhance automation workflows using Logic Apps and SOC playbooks

✅ Fine-tune detection rules and improve alert fidelity to strengthen security monitoring

✅ Partner with SOC teams on proactive threat hunting activities and convert findings into actionable use cases

✅ Ensure compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements, and audit controls

✅ Collaborate with security stakeholders to align SIEM operations with organizational security objectives

✅ Mentor L2 engineers and provide technical leadership across the SIEM practice

What We're Looking For Experience

✔️ 10+ years of overall IT/Cyber Security experience

✔️ 5+ years of hands-on SIEM platform management experience

✔️ Deep expertise with Microsoft Sentinel

Technical Skills

✔️ Advanced experience with Microsoft Sentinel architecture, deployment, and administration

✔️ Strong Kusto Query Language (KQL) expertise for complex analytics and threat detection

✔️ Experience integrating on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments

✔️ Hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps and SOAR automation

✔️ Scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Python

✔️ Strong understanding of SOC operations, threat hunting, and incident response processes

✔️ Knowledge of security frameworks, governance, and compliance requirements

Personal Skills

✔️ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

✔️ Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities

✔️ Self-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation

✔️ Ability to mentor and guide technical teams
