Cybersecurity Engineer

The Role

• Build, enhance, and operate secure cyber pipeline stages (SAST, DAST, container scanning, SBOM/SCA).
• Implement pipeline blocking rules for Critical/High vulnerabilities and integrate cyber validation tasks into CI/CD.
• Produce RMF/cATO-ready cyber evidence and validate artifact integrity.
• Provide direct developer enablement, including onboarding into DSOP tools and secure coding guidance.
• Review, categorize, and drive remediation of CWE/CVE findings.
• Partner with Cloud engineers on early pipeline/environment design to promote secure-by-default automation.

What You'll Need

• Nine (9) years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or seven (7) years with a Master's.
• Hands-on experience with automated SAST/DAST/container scans using tools like Fortify, ZAP, Grype/Trivy.
• Proficiency with DevSecOps tooling, including GitLab CI/CD, container registries, and SBOM/SCA tools.
• Experience documenting mitigations, reviewing CWE/CVE outputs, and validating secure coding practices.
• 8140 aligned certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CCSP, CASP+, or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
