Cyber Security Researcher | Leading Classified Technology Organization | Central Israel
A leading classified technology organization in Central Israel is looking for an experienced Cyber Security Researcher to join a complex and highly technical environment.
The role combines cybersecurity research, hands-on implementation of security controls and defense mechanisms, and analysis of technical intelligence to identify actionable insights and strengthen cyber defense capabilities.
What You'll Do
- Research and analyze cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and emerging technologies
- Implement and enhance cybersecurity controls and defense mechanisms
- Evaluate and apply advanced cyber defense technologies and methodologies
- Analyze technical and intelligence information to identify meaningful research insights
- Translate research findings into practical cybersecurity solutions
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and technology professionals in a classified environment
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of relevant professional cybersecurity experience – required
- Proven hands-on experience implementing cybersecurity defenses and security controls
- Strong experience in cybersecurity research and technical analysis
- Experience analyzing technical intelligence and extracting actionable insights
- Strong analytical and independent research capabilities
- Deep technical understanding and strong problem-solving skills
- Valid Level 3 security clearance or higher – required
Education – One of the Following Is Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer-related studies, Exact Sciences, or Technology Engineering
- Practical Engineering diploma in Computer Science / Technology
- At least 400 hours of professional cybersecurity training
- Graduate of a recognized military technology unit with relevant professional experience, subject to applicable approval
