Loom Talent is partnering with a growing logistics and contract warehousing business to appoint an experienced Pricing Analyst - Warehouse Solutions.
This is a commercially focused role sitting at the intersection of warehouse operations, solution design, pricing and finance. You'll work closely with Sales and Client Solutions teams to understand customer requirements build accurate pricing models that support new business and existing customer contracts.
We're looking for someone who understands how warehouses actually operate and can translate operational requirements into cost models, pricing structures and compelling commercial solutions.
The role is fully remote, with a loose connection to Columbus, Ohio, and will involve some travel across the US for customer meetings, site visits and internal collaboration.
What You'll Be Doing- Partner with Sales and Client Solutions teams to understand customer requirements and develop tailored warehouse and fulfilment solutions.
- Analyse customer profiles, operational requirements, volumes, inventory, labour requirements and other key cost drivers.
- Develop detailed warehouse pricing and cost models, ensuring solutions are both operationally realistic and commercially viable.
- Calculate cost-to-serve across areas such as labour, storage, handling, equipment, facilities and value-added services.
- Develop commercial proposals and pricing structures in collaboration with Account Executives and commercial leadership.
- Apply appropriate margins based on customer profile, market conditions, competitive positioning and strategic value.
- Analyse market pricing and competitor activity to identify trends and opportunities.
- Maintain and continuously improve warehouse cost and pricing databases.
- Work with operational and procurement teams to ensure cost assumptions and underlying rates remain accurate and current.
- Review pricing and operational performance following the launch of new customers, identifying discrepancies and opportunities for improvement.
- Support annual pricing reviews and tariff/indexation processes.
- Analyse proposal outcomes and market feedback to continually improve pricing models and commercial propositions.
- Present warehouse solutions and pricing recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Six Sigma and broader commercial optimisation projects.
We're looking for an analytically strong logistics professional who combines real-world warehouse knowledge with commercial and financial capability.
You'll ideally bring:
- 3+ years' experience within logistics, warehousing, contract logistics, 3PL or supply chain.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and cost drivers.
- Experience working with pricing, commercial analysis, solution design, costing or business analysis.
- A degree or academic background in Finance, Economics, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related discipline.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with complex data and pricing models.
- The ability to interpret operational data and turn it into clear commercial recommendations.
- Strong numerical and analytical capability, with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into practical warehouse solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to work with Sales, Operations, Finance and senior stakeholders.
- A commercially minded approach, with an understanding of margins, profitability and cost-to-serve.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities to improve pricing accuracy, processes and profitability.
- The flexibility to travel across the US when required.
This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional logistics analysis and take ownership of the commercial pricing behind complex warehouse solutions.
You'll have genuine influence over how solutions are designed, priced and taken to market, working across Sales, Operations and Finance while developing a deep understanding of the economics behind modern contract logistics.
The role is fully remote, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere in the US, while offering regular exposure to customers, operational sites and senior stakeholders.
