The IT Infrastructure Administrator will design, implement, maintain, and evaluate Blackberry Farm's server, storage, virtualization, backup/disaster recovery, and cloud/data platform infrastructure. The position ensures the systems that support guest-facing and back-of-house operations — including core business applications, data platforms, and integrated systems — are reliable, secure, and scalable. The role works closely with the Network Engineer, Network Security Administrator, and broader IT team to maintain a stable, well-governed technology foundation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Designs, deploys, and maintains virtualized server infrastructure (VMware) supporting core business systems
- Administers and maintains storage systems (SAN) to ensure performance, capacity, and availability of company data
- Manages backup and disaster recovery systems (Veeam or equivalent), performing regular recovery testing to ensure business continuity
- Maintains and monitors Windows server operating systems, patching and updating systems on a regular schedule
- Administers Microsoft Exchange/Office 365 and Active Directory environments, including account provisioning and access management
- Supports and maintains cloud and data platform infrastructure (e.g., Snowflake, Salesforce environments) in coordination with business system owners
- Monitors infrastructure performance and capacity, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks before they impact operations
- Partners with the Network Engineer and Network Security Administrator to ensure infrastructure security aligns with firewall, network access, and overall security policy
- Performs and monitors daily system backups and validates data integrity and availability
- Maintains documentation of infrastructure architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Evaluates and recommends new infrastructure technologies, tools, and vendors to improve reliability, performance, and cost efficiency
- Leads infrastructure-related projects, including new system deployments, migrations, and integrations
- Coordinates with software and platform vendors to troubleshoot infrastructure-level issues and escalate as needed
- Protects organizational value through safeguarding of confidential information and enforcement of infrastructure access controls
- Supports property IT operations by working tickets submitted within the IT ticketing system
- Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating outcomes, identifying problems, and anticipating future infrastructure requirements
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining professional networks
- Accomplishes organizational goals by participating in cross-functional projects and addressing infrastructure issues in a timely manner

- BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
- VMware certification (VCP or equivalent) preferred
- Veeam or equivalent backup software
- Dell EMC SAN or equivalent storage systems preferred
- Microsoft Exchange / Office 365 administration
- Active Directory administration
- Windows Server operating systems
- Experience with cloud/data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Salesforce infrastructure) preferred
- Micros point of sale systems preferred
- Opera property management system preferred
- ITIL Foundation or equivalent IT service management experience desirable
- Must be able to communicate with ALL Team Members in a professional and courteous manner
- Excellent communication and writing skills and professional appearance is required
- Basic Math and Excel skills
- Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals; must be able to apply logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual or practical problems
- Must be able to work in a General Office setting

- Some travel may be required initially for training purposes
- Monday – Friday – 8 am – 5pm
- On-call rotation for after-hours support
- Some weekends and/or evenings as needed to handle special events or emergencies
