PCN Engineer

PCN Engineer:

• Full time permanent position
• Based in Perth CBD
• Experience within mining, resources, energy or other industrial/OT environments

We are seeking a PCN Engineer to design, support and improve Process Control Network environments across complex industrial operations. This role will suit an experienced industrial network engineer with strong knowledge of OT/ICS environments, network infrastructure and cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and support Process Control Network (PCN) infrastructure within operational technology (OT) environments.
• Configure and maintain industrial network technologies including switches, firewalls, routers and network monitoring tools.
• Support integration activities across control systems, SCADA platforms and industrial applications.
• Diagnose and resolve complex network performance, connectivity and communications issues across critical infrastructure environments.
• Contribute to network architecture, technical standards and lifecycle management activities.

To Be Considered:

• Experience supporting industrial networks within mining, energy, utilities, manufacturing or other OT environments.
• Strong knowledge of Ethernet networking, TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs and network security principles.
• Experience with industrial network equipment such as Cisco, Hirschmann, Stratix, Palo Alto or equivalent technologies.
• Understanding of OT/ICS environments, including SCADA and control system architectures.

Desirable:

• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE or equivalent.
