AI Product Manager – CrossBorder Payments

AI Product Manager – Cross-Border Payments Shanghai / Shenzhen / Hong Kong Payments – Product Solutions / Full-time Employee / Hybrid apply for this job We are looking for an AI Product Manager to join our Cross-Border Payments team.   This role combines strong technical understanding, FDE (Forward Deployed Engineer) capabilities, APP product experience, and AI product expertise. You will work closely with engineering, operations, risk, and business teams to identify real-world problems and turn AI and technology capabilities into scalable products.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for cross-border payment products, with a strong focus on APP and user-facing experiences. Deeply understand user and business needs, using data and user insights to improve product experience, conversion, engagement, and efficiency. Operate with an FDE mindset by working closely with business and operational teams to identify problems, prototype solutions, and drive them into production. Partner closely with engineering teams and contribute to technical discussions involving APIs, system architecture, data, integrations, and frontend/backend interactions. Identify and develop opportunities to apply AI/LLM capabilities to real business and product scenarios. Design and launch AI-powered features and workflows, including LLM applications, AI Agents, RAG, intelligent customer support, AI-assisted operations, and workflow automation. Own the full AI product lifecycle from problem identification, product definition, solution design, development, launch, and performance evaluation. Use product data, user feedback, and market insights to continuously improve product performance. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Operations, Data, Risk, and other stakeholders to drive product initiatives from concept to production. Support product localization and optimization across different international markets.

Requirements

3+ years of Product Management experience, with strong technical understanding or a technical background. A degree or previous experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience building and operating consumer-facing or APP products, with a strong understanding of user growth, engagement, retention, conversion, and UX. Hands-on experience with AI products or AI-powered projects, with a solid understanding of LLMs, AI Agents, RAG, and related AI technologies. Demonstrated ability to translate AI capabilities into practical product and business applications, rather than simply using AI tools. Strong technical understanding of APIs, databases, system architecture, data flows, and frontend/backend interactions. Ability to work closely with engineers and participate meaningfully in technical solution design. Coding experience is a strong plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to identify problems and measure product impact. Experience in payments, fintech, cross-border payments, financial products, or transaction-based businesses is preferred. Strong business judgment and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Professional working proficiency in English; experience with international or global products is preferred.
