Cybersecurity Testing & Operations Specialist

Your role
As a Cybersecurity Testing & Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for strengthening the organization's cyber resilience through security testing, vulnerability management, operational security improvements, and continuous validation of security controls.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Planning, executing, and coordinating cybersecurity testing activities, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, security control validation, attack simulations, and technical security reviews across infrastructure, applications, cloud platforms, and network environments.
- Driving vulnerability management processes end-to-end, including identification, risk assessment, prioritization, remediation tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement of vulnerability governance and operational practices.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of security controls and defensive capabilities, ensuring alignment with industry frameworks, regulatory requirements, security policies, and organizational risk management objectives.
- Collaborating with security operations, infrastructure, cloud, application, and architecture teams to identify security gaps, define remediation plans, and support the implementation of sustainable security improvements across the technology landscape.
- Establishing and maintaining cybersecurity testing methodologies, standards, procedures, and reporting frameworks, ensuring consistency, quality, and repeatability of security testing activities and operational processes.
- Supporting continuous security improvement initiatives through threat-informed testing, purple team exercises, attack path validation, security posture assessments, and operational security readiness activities, helping the organization proactively identify and reduce cyber risk.
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity testing, vulnerability management, penetration testing, security assessment, or cybersecurity operations environments.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management principles, security controls, and industry best practices.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment and security testing tools, including platforms such as Tenable, Qualys, Nessus, Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Microsoft Defender, or equivalent technologies.
- Working with cutting-edge telecom technologies, including 5G Core and cloud-native architectures
