Computer Network Defense Administrator

Position Responsibilities

Administer and maintain network firewalls, web proxy services, and IDS/IPS technologies.

• Support enterprise network routing and switching devices.
• Troubleshoot and sustain secure LAN/WAN communications in mission environments.
• Maintain network security capabilities supporting defensive cyber operations.

Required Education / Experience Bachelor of Science/Arts degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Science, Business Administration, or Mathematics plus three (3) years of specialized experience; or an Associate's degree plus seven (7) years of specialized experience; or a major certification plus seven (7) years of specialized experience; or eleven (11) years of specialized experience.

Required Specialized Certification Network Firewall and/or Integrated Detection/Prevention Systems certification; or F5-CA; F5-CTS; F5-CSE; BCCPA; CCNA; CCNP (any); CCIE (any); or Cisco CyberOps Professional.

Required Specialized Experience Four (4) years of experience using and maintaining network firewalls, web proxy, and/or IDS/IPS devices; two (2) years of experience with enterprise network routing/switching devices; and two (2) years of direct experience with U.S. military command and control or commercial LAN/WAN communication systems.
