Cyber Response Analyst

Position Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

Monitor and investigate malicious or anomalous security activity.

• Perform technical malware and forensic analysis of media, PCAP, and network logs.
• Analyze enterprise data to assess past and potential future security incidents.
• Coordinate incident response and communicate investigative findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Education / Experience Bachelor of Science/Arts degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Science, Business Administration, or Mathematics plus three (3) years of specialized experience; or an Associate's degree plus seven (7) years of specialized experience; or a major certification plus seven (7) years of specialized experience; or eleven (11) years of specialized experience.

Required Specialized Certification At least one of the following: Cisco CyberOps Professional; SANS certification (any); Blue Team Level 1; Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate.

Required Specialized Experience Experience monitoring intrusion detection and SIEM systems; triaging events; performing malware or forensic analysis on storage media, PCAP, and network logs; analyzing logs and packet captures; coordinating response; understanding hacker TTPs and exploits; and articulating investigative findings to technical and non-technical audiences
