What You’ll Do
The Information Security Governance and Compliance Analyst is responsible for supporting the development, maintenance, communication, and oversight of information security policies, standards, and related governance practices. This role helps coordinate audit activity, supports external assessments such as tabletop exercises and maturity reviews, and develops security metrics that provide visibility into policy compliance and control effectiveness.
The individual in this role will have responsibility for the development and maintenance of an information security risk register, based on the outcomes of audits and risk assessments. The individual partners with business and technology stakeholders to strengthen policy adoption, monitor compliance, and advance the organization’s governance and compliance objectives.
Basic Qualifications
The following are required to be considered for this role:
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of professional experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience with information security governance processes
- Hands-on experience in information security, such as security engineering, security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, or other technical cybersecurity disciplines
- Relevant certification (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP, CGEIT)
- 5+ years of information security experience
- Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
- The salary range for this role is $90,000- $110,000. Final compensation varies based on several factors.
- This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, giving you the best of both worlds: collaborating in person at Headquarters in Kansas City, MO and enjoying the flexibility of working remotely. The team is typically in office once a week, with additional days as needed.
