Why this role

Our client is scaling up its global cyber security governance, and this is a newly strengthened seat at the centre of it. As Enterprise Security Architect, you won't just write policy — you'll be the security authority that every major technical design across the group's global IT landscape has to pass through before it goes live. You'll sit in the central CISO Office, translate security strategy into practical, usable guardrails, and review the work of Cloud & Infra, Applications, Data & Analytics, and OT teams worldwide.

What you'll do

• Define, maintain and evolve enterprise security architecture: standards, design patterns, and guardrails applied consistently across regions and business units.
• Review, challenge and approve technical designs from Cloud & Infra, Applications, Data & Analytics, OT and other teams — you hold real sign-off authority, within CISO-defined boundaries.
• Translate security policy into guidance that project and delivery teams can actually implement, not just theory.
• Own security exception and compensating-control decisions, escalating high-risk items to the Group Security Manager (CISO).
• Build and maintain the security service catalog, with clear ownership and governance.
• Act as the trusted security counterpart to Enterprise Architecture, CIO leadership, and regional delivery teams across a genuinely global footprint.

What you bring

• c 5+ years in Security Architecture, Security Engineering, Cloud/Infrastructure Security, or Security Consulting. A strong Mid-Level 3+yrs will be considered.
• A demonstrated track record translating security policy into practical, implementable design patterns and guardrails — this is the core of the role.
• Real experience reviewing and approving technical designs from infrastructure, application, data, or cloud teams, with a structured, objective security review mindset.
• Solid working knowledge of IAM, network segmentation, secure remote access, and privileged access management (PAM) — the domains you'll operate in daily.
• Strong documentation and governance discipline, and the stakeholder skills to influence teams you don't manage.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); experience in global or multinational environments preferred.
• Nice to have: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, TOGAF or SABSA certification; OT/industrial security exposure; experience in manufacturing or process-industry IT.

Location-independent within the group's global hub network, with a strong preference for Ho Chi Minh City.
