Cyber Security Architect – Application Security - 242042

We’re hiring a Cyber Security Architect – Application Security to join a large and established company based in Haifa.

This is a key role combining software development, security architecture, and application security, with a strong focus on integrating security throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Secure SDLC processes, including defining security requirements, secure coding guidelines, and integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide Secure by Design guidance to development teams
• Perform Threat Modeling, vulnerability assessments, and code reviews
• Manage security findings and work with SAST / DAST tools
• Integrate security automation into development processes and organizational platforms
• Define, document, and implement secure development standards and procedures
• Collaborate closely with Development, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Cyber Security teams
• Work with IAM, configuration hardening, and security compliance requirements

Requirements:

• 5–10 years of experience in software development, cyber security, and/or information security
• At least 1 year of previous hands-on software development experience – mandatory
• Strong understanding of software architecture and secure development practices
• Solid knowledge of Cyber Security and Application Security
• Experience with security tools such as SonarQube, OWASP ZAP, Snyk, Burp Suite, and Kali Linux
• Experience working with CI/CD environments
• Penetration Testing experience – a significant advantage
• Strong ability to provide professional security guidance and work effectively with multidisciplinary technical teams
