DevOps Security Engineer at BairesDev
As a DevOps Security Engineer, you will act as a critical link between infrastructure operations and security protocols. Your mission is to integrate security as an automated, inherent component of the software delivery lifecycle, ensuring that protection is built into every stage of development and deployment.
What You'll Do
- Embed automated security checkpoints and scanning tools throughout the continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Develop and maintain machine-readable security policies to enforce governance across cloud environments automatically.
- Implement robust secrets management systems and define secure configuration standards for containerized workloads.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to architect secure infrastructure following Infrastructure as Code best practices.
- Monitor and audit deployment workflows to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities before they reach production.
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Security Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure.
- Proven expertise in integrating security tooling like Snyk, Trivy, or Aqua into CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in implementing Policy as Code (PaC) using frameworks such as OPA.
- Hands-on experience with secrets management and secure configuration of containers and IaC.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native security principles and DevSecOps workflows.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
