📢 Today, we are looking for a Global IT Security Manager to join us in Fribourg.

We are seeking an experienced Global IT Security Senior Manager to lead and drive the cybersecurity strategy of a global retail group.

This role is responsible for protecting the organization's digital assets, retail platforms, store systems, and customer data across both e-commerce and physical retail environments. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a solid understanding of retail operations and a strategic "secure by design" mindset.

Your role

• Define and execute the global cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead and operate global security operations (SOC) across stores, e-commerce, and supply chain environments.
• Manage and optimize core security platforms (Microsoft Security Stack, CrowdStrike, Fortinet, Zscaler, Citrix).
• Own incident response and crisis management, including ransomware, breaches, and major outages with a structured and calm approach.
• Drive vulnerability management and threat detection lifecycle end-to-end.
• Define and enforce security policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure a secure-by-design integration across all IT and digital transformation projects.
• Protect identities, endpoints, networks, and cloud environments utilizing a Zero Trust approach.
• Manage third-party and vendor security risks across SaaS platforms and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, retail/payment regulations, and internal audit requirements.
• Report security posture, risks, and KPIs directly to the CIO and executive leadership.

Your profile

• 5 to 10+ years of experience in IT security, including a leadership role as Cybersecurity Manager or a similar function.
• Proven experience managing hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud) with a strong focus on identity and access management (IAM, Entra ID, Active Directory, MFA, PAM).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise security technologies, including Microsoft security stack, CrowdStrike, Fortinet, Zscaler, and Citrix.
• Demonstrated track record implementing security policies, governance frameworks, and standards in a global organization.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Zero Trust security principles (highly desirable).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex hybrid IT environments.
• Experience operating in multi-site / international retail or supply chain environments is a strong advantage.
• Ability to lead and coordinate during major security incidents, with a structured and calm approach.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Fluent in English
