Microsoft 365 Engineer

We're looking for an experienced M365 Engineer to serve as a technical authority across our enterprise environment, driving architecture, governance, resilience, and innovation across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

What You'll Do:

Drive M365 Strategy & Architecture

• Define and influence the long-term Microsoft 365 roadmap and enterprise architecture.
• Establish standards, design patterns, and best practices that align with business, security, and scalability objectives.
• Guide strategic technology decisions across collaboration, productivity, identity, and security platforms.

Lead Complex Enterprise Solutions

• Architect and oversee enterprise-wide M365 solutions and integrations.
• Act as the go-to technical expert for highly complex design and implementation challenges.
• Balance performance, security, cost, and operational requirements to deliver optimal solutions.

Enhance Reliability, Security & Operational Excellence

• Design highly available, resilient, and secure cloud services.
• Drive improvements in observability, governance, compliance, and operational maturity.
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of critical, high-impact issues.

Influence Across the Organization

• Partner with Infrastructure, Security, Network, Cloud, Applications, and Product teams.
• Communicate technical strategies and risks to senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
• Represent M365 engineering in architecture reviews, governance forums, and strategic initiatives.

Mentor and Elevate Technical Excellence

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Lead design reviews and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Contribute to the continuous advancement of engineering standards and practices.

What You'll Bring:

✅12+ years of experience in enterprise IT, systems engineering, cloud platforms, or Microsoft technologies

✅Deep expertise across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including:

1. Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
2. Exchange Online
3. Microsoft Teams
4. SharePoint Online & OneDrive
5. Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance
6. Intune and Endpoint Management
7. PowerShell & Automation

✅ Strong enterprise architecture, integration, and cloud governance experience

✅ Proven ability to influence technical direction and drive strategic outcomes without direct authority

✅ Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences
