Overview

Our client is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to help protect and strengthen the organization's security environment, with a strong focus on the Microsoft security ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate security alerts, incidents, and threats.
• Administer and support Microsoft Azure, Defender, Sentinel, and Purview.
• Support DLP, data classification, information protection, and security policies.
• Assist with vulnerability management, remediation, and security assessments.
• Support identity and access security within Microsoft Entra ID.
• Partner with IT, infrastructure, and operations teams to improve security controls.
• Maintain security documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cybersecurity or security operations experience.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and Purview.
• Understanding of incident response, threat detection, vulnerability management, and cloud security.
• Experience with DLP, data classification, and identity/access management.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Microsoft security certifications are a plus.
