Information Security Support Engineer

1. Ensure all company laptops and desktops have the required security agents, tools, patches, and endpoint protection solutions installed and functioning properly.
2. Perform regular checks on end-user devices to verify compliance with company security policies, standards, and baseline configurations.
3. Troubleshoot security-related issues on laptops and desktops, including antivirus, endpoint detection, encryption, data loss prevention, access control, and agent connectivity issues.
4. Support IT Helpdesk and end users in resolving endpoint security incidents, vulnerabilities, and configuration gaps in a timely manner.
5. Conduct security and privacy awareness sessions for employees to improve understanding of safe computing practices, data protection, phishing risks, and company security requirements.
6. Identify weaknesses in existing IT support and endpoint security processes, document gaps, and recommend practical improvements.
7. Work closely with business users and IT teams to identify risks and support remediation activities to strengthen the overall security posture.
8. Monitor adherence to company security policies within the function and ensure required controls are implemented effectively across end-user devices.
9. Assist in maintaining endpoint security compliance reports, audit evidence, asset status updates, and remediation tracking for laptops and desktops.
10. Escalate significant security concerns, repeated non-compliance, or unresolved risks to appropriate technical teams and management.
11. Interact with senior management and stakeholders to respond to security-related queries, provide updates, and support implementation of security initiatives.
12. Promote a strong security culture across the team by encouraging responsible user behavior, proactive risk reporting, and continuous improvement in security practices.
