Cyber Security Analyst

Basic Functions: The Cybersecurity Analyst will work with utility clients to monitor and manage their cyber systems, ensuring their security and compliance. You will be part of a team of experts who are passionate about protecting critical infrastructure from cyber threats. You will also have the opportunity to learn from industry leaders and develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

The Cybersecurity Analyst will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Monitor and manage cyber systems for utility clients
2. Conduct cybersecurity risk analysis and gap assessment for utility clients
3. Develop and document cybersecurity policies, procedures, and plans
4. Configure and install cybersecurity tools and systems, such as firewalls, antivirus, encryption, authentication, etc.
5. Perform vulnerability scanning, review cybersecurity frameworks, and incident response
6. Train and educate utility staff on cybersecurity awareness and best practices
7. Serve as the day to day administrator of various hosted customer Cybersecurity platforms.

Qualifications:

The Cybersecurity Analyst candidate will need the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
2. At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in the utility sector
3. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GSEC
4. Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO, NERC, etc.
5. Proficient in cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, VPN, etc.
6. Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with clients and team members
