We are working with a growing organisation looking for an Information Security Consultant to join their security team in Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career across information security, risk, governance and compliance, while working closely with internal stakeholders and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct information-security risk assessments and gap analyses.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 27001 and other security frameworks.
• Develop and review security policies, procedures and controls.
• Provide advice around risk management, governance and compliance.
• Support security audits, assessments and assurance activities.
• Work with stakeholders to identify vulnerabilities and develop appropriate remediation plans.
• Produce clear security reports, recommendations and risk documentation.
• Support clients and internal teams with security-related queries and requirements.
• Keep up to date with emerging cyber threats, regulations and industry best practice.
• Assist with security improvement and transformation programmes.

You'll ideally have:

• Experience working within Information Security / Cyber Security.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, CIS or similar frameworks.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, audits or security reviews.
• Strong understanding of information-security principles and controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A consultative approach and the ability to manage multiple projects.

• ISO 27001
• CISM
• CISSP
• CRISC
• Security+
• NIST / GRC-related certifications
